Business Analyst

You are a passionate Business Analyst.

Combinate is a software development and consulting company.

Reporting to the COO, you will be an integral part of our sales process and software development lifecycle. Alongside the sales team, you will be the key interface between our clients and our service delivery/development team.

You will gather and document the project requirements and provide feedback on how the implementation can be achieved.

A technical background is a must as it will assist you to collaborate with the broader production team and help lead the way in the solution architecture.

You are someone that can meet the technical needs of the fast-paced online industry with a focus on delivering reliable, cutting edge technology that can be tailored to meet the needs of our customers, in Australia and around the world.

You are an expert at discovering, capturing and documenting requirements form a number of stakeholders:

• Confident in serving as a liaison between client stakeholders and developers
• Practiced at gathering requirements and performing requirements analysis
• Able to create, review and update the functional requirements and specifications documentation
• Able to write non-functional requirements
• Can evaluate processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement
• Can work with technical team members to ensure solutions meet the client requirements
• Have a solid understanding in web application environments and development tools

• Have exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Able to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine solutions
• Ensure that all activity personally completed is reportable, generates revenue and is profitable
• Able to meet objectives and manage workload without needing pressure from others
• Proactive at keeping to deadlines, knowingly when to ask for help and raising with management when an deadline won't be met
• Can communicate clearly with peers and management in verbal and written methods, using a strong grasp of the English language
• Able to decide which tasks need to be completed immediately, and which tasks can be postponed to a later time
